What is Pocong Ghost?

So far people told me, Pocong is something of an apparition that often freightening people in Indonesia, and maybe neighbouring Countries, so freightening it became a legend called "Pocong" or some people call it "Candy Ghost" by the way it wrapped like candy (hmm.. can't see why they can come up with candy). But the apparition really looks like someone who died   and respectively wrapped in "kain kaffan" or white fabric instead of a coffin.

Some people told me, that they are actually "Jinn" like quoting in Quranic verse "Alloh has created Human and Jin to Worship HIM" that impersonating what humans are affraid of, or some other people told me they're actually energy entity that echoes from the past traumatic event that may have occured. Some others told me that you have to have enough courage to face the apparition, that way it will vanished.
Well, God knows all secrets...
